Attending IEP and Team meetings to ensure that the parents’ voices are heard and the child is receiving services that best meet their needs

Interpreting school and independent evaluations

Observing your child at school and/or at home and making recommendations to promote their success

Reviewing relevant paperwork related to your child’s progress (this includes current IEPs, testings results, progress reports, etc) and discussing what is working and what is not

Sharing constructive and practical recommendations
Tutoring

Providing support for students to complete homework assignments

Delivering supplemental instruction in the areas of math, reading, and writing using a variety of methodologies

Instructing students in understanding their feelings and body cues as well as strategies to assist in coping with these feelings

Helping parents and students set up systems that encourage independence and improve executive functioning within the home
About Me
- 13 years experience in the field of education in residential and public schools
- Educated with students with multiple diagnoses including autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, mental health disorders, and developmental delays
- Training in a variety of academic, social, emotional, and behavioral techniques and curricula
- Extensive practice administering and interpreting results from commonly administered testing measures
